Amanda & Justin – Trident Tech

One day, two ceremonies, one BIG party!

Amanda and Justin said “I Do” in two different celebrations.  The morning began bright and early with a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony held at Amanda’s family home. The groom’s family carried trays of food and drinks, as well as a whole roast hog to present to the bride’s family.  The families then bowed to their ancestors to ask them to bless the marriage.  Tea was served to immediate family members, upon which the family gave the newlyweds advice and gifts. Following the tea ceremony, a traditional Vietnamese meal was prepared at the home for the guests to enjoy.

Following the Vietnamese ceremony, the couple held a Christian ceremony at the Coosaw Creek Country Club.  The bridal party changed from their tea ceremony outfits and Amanda changed into a traditional white gown.

After the ceremonies, 500 guests headed to the reception, where a 9-course traditional Vietnamese meal was served family-style.

Fresh Weddings and Events crafted a stunning raised piece for the head table that resembled a floating cloud, to fit Amanda’s all-white vision. We wish the newlyweds nothing but the best in the future!
