Kiawah Island, SC is a place unlike any other. It is quaint, it is beachy, it is romantic.
Emily grew up vacationing on Kiawah Island with her family, and when she got engaged, she knew instantly she wanted to get married here and introduce her new family to this special place.
When we first started brainstorming design ideas, we thought, “How can we make this rustic, outdoor venue a little less “nature-y” and a little more “wedding-y?” We ended up landing on classic, crisp whites paired with an abundance of candlelight. We softened the tree line with draping and cafe lights for a perfect evening under the stars.
Being March, there was just enough chill in the air to make our cocktail hour oyster roast perfectly enjoyable. The lit fire by the dance floor kept the guests warm while dancing the night away.
A few months after the wedding, Emily and Ben found out they are expecting their first child! There is nothing I love more than connecting with a family as special as theirs, and I can’t wait to see their little family grow!
