Meghan & Collan – Hibernian Hall

A black-tie winter wedding in downtown Charleston

Meghan and Collan’s wedding was the epitome of Southern Charm and elegance.  The day started with the girls getting ready at the historic John Rutledge House Inn, an easy 20 step journey over to the afternoon mass at the Cathedral of  St. John the Baptist.  A bagpiper played as the bridal party recessed onto Broad Street.
Guests arrived to cocktail hour in the lower ballroom of the Hibernian to the sounds of a harp, while the bridal party traveled around the city in a trolley for photos.  Cocktails flowed until we invited guests to the second level for dinner.  The room was outfitted in navy and gold, with raised centerpieces to fill the space of the grand ceilings.
The Hibernian is the perfect stage (literally, it has a large built-in stage) for a great band.  The couple changed their original wedding date to accommodate this band’s availability, and they did not disappoint! The groom and best man dancing on stage to Ginuine was probably the proudest moment of the evening 😉 Wishing these lovebirds all the best in their future together!
