Rachel and Will said “I do” at the beautiful Old St. Andrew’s Parish Church with a reception to follow at Halls Signature Events at 5 Faber Street in downtown Charleston.
Guests enjoyed a station style dinner from the world-famous Halls Chop House. As you can imagine, steak was on the menu! The best in town, as a matter of fact.
The newlyweds played the “shoe game” and it got everyone laughing. After the couple shared their first dance, they did an anniversary dance. If you are not familiar with this dance, all married couples are asked to make their way to the dance floor. The DJ then announces, “If you have married less than one day, please exit the dance floor.” Everyone else continues to dance as the DJ dismisses couples married less than a year, less than 3 years, etc. until the longest married couple are the only ones left dancing. The winner were the bride’s grandparents, married for 53 years! What a special celebration to share with them at their own wedding reception!
We wish Rachel and Will all the best in their future together!
