When Kelly Strong Events reached out to us about coordinating a wedding in Charleston she was designing, we were all ears. We love collaborating with other planners to make magic happen.  Most venues do not allow planners to double as guests at the wedding (rightfully so!) and Terence, the groom, was Kelly’s brother. Being an experienced wedding designer from New York, Kelly wanted to design the wedding, but she wanted to be able to relax on the weekend of the wedding and enjoy it with her family.
Enter: Peper Events! We did a walkthrough prior to the wedding with Kelly, Paula, and Terence, to ensure the best layout at the William Aiken House, and we recommended several of our favorite local vendors. From there, when the wedding weekend arrived, we handled the ceremony rehearsal and all wedding day details. With the threat of rain all week, we ordered the rain reserve tent, called it off the morning of the wedding, and ended up with a perfect evening under the stars in downtown Charleston.  We couldn’t have had a better time working with this amazing planner and sweet couple!
