Being bold with your wedding design is an idea we will never turn down. This wedding took place in the courtyard of The Inn at Middleton Place under a beautiful sailcloth tent overlooking the Ashley River.
What usually begins with a lot of brainstorming, hones in on one collective idea over the several months of wedding planning. From day one, Gray knew she wanted bright colors. Coral charm peonies, colorful ribbon accents, bright lounges. It was so fun picking out which elements completed this wedding look without going overboard or getting color crazy. The floral moongate took the cake (figuratively) as the statement piece of this wedding. As the ceremony focal point, it enhanced the natural elements of the lawn and the river. From there, it transformed into a photo backdrop over the cotton candy sunset.
To tone down the color, we incorporated several natural elements, including mahogany wooden chairs and benches, farm tables, and a birchwood dance floor. Our linens were solid ivory to further allow the colorful napkins and floral chandelier to pop under the reception tent. The mother of the bride even sewed the head table runner to coordinate! This wedding was one of a kind and one we won’t soon forget. All the best to Gray and Ryan in their future together!
