Valentine’s Day in the Lowcountry!
Not only will Kate & Mike’s anniversary forever fall on the most romantic day of the year, but their wedding day certainly reflected it as well. One look at any one of these photos and you can feel the love pouring out between these two! While planning the design for this day, we wanted to make a small nod to V-Day, but we didn’t want to decorate in all red roses if you know what I mean!
Kate and Mike chose to budget for elements that meant the most to them, splurging on a few design elements and making sure to get a DJ and photographer they loved. The floral arch was a “must-have” and oh my, am I glad Kate fought for that one! It was absolutely stunning!
One of my favorite parts of this day was coordinating Kate to roll up to the ceremony in a vintage Rolls Royce. Lowndes Grove has an elegant gated, curved driveway, and when the whole bridal party was in place, the gate opened up in drove the bride. Her brother and mom escorted her out of the car and down the aisle, and it was truly a beautiful moment.
Guests enjoyed dinner stations, cake, open bar, and dancing all night until the sparkler exit! We wish these two and their puppies a lifetime of happiness together!
