Brittany & John enhanced the backdrop of this southern wedding venue by maximizing the use of lush greenery paired with glistening chandeliers. We loved Brittany’s design choice of pairing the rustic elements of the Cotton Dock, wooden farm tables, and X back chairs, with crystal chandeliers, cafe lighting, and lounge furniture. The Cotton Dock came to life for their reception and the blazing fire gave their guests refuge from the February evening chill.
Their ceremony in the Avenue of Oaks took place right before golden hour, allowing for a breathtaking backdrop for them to exchange vows. They were able to take portraits around the property while guests enjoyed their signature cocktails on the patio of the Cotton Dock.
The Finns kept the dance floor packed all night until the shuttle buses came to take the guests downtown Charleston for the after party.
