Jeanie & Ed – William Aiken House

Jeanie & Ed hosted their wedding as planned on their original date of June 12, 2020.  This date should ring bells to everyone (and not just wedding bells) as it took place just one week after venues reopened following the national shutdown of businesses and group gatherings.  We were under capacity restrictions and had several accommodations in place to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone in attendance.  These two were lucky in that they were both local to Charleston, so most of their friends and family were able to attend as planned.  That didn’t make the months leading up to the wedding any less stressful, and we appreciate their gratitude and grace as we navigated the unchartered waters this spring brought us.
My favorite part of their wedding day was the nod to their love for pizza.  From a fellow pizza lover myself, I loved that they incorporated this cute tradition between the two of them into their wedding night by serving late night pizza snacks to guests on the dance floor, as well as gave out custom pizza cutters as favors!
Not only was their day beautiful, there was a level of love and appreciation underlying the entire day. Wishing these two all the love and happiness in the world as a married couple!
