2020 threw everyone for a curve ball, and while each person can say how it affected them differently, couples planning a wedding would argue they were hit harder than most.  Hannah & Alex were forced to postpone their spring wedding and chose the fall of 2020.  The only available dates at their venue were weekdays, so they chose a Monday. I dare you to look at these photos and think that anyone had any less fun at this wedding because it was on a Monday! Their family and friends showed up for them and partied all night long. I would vouch to say maybe they partied even harder given the circumstances?

Hannah was such an organized bride and hired us for Day of Coordination because she knew she could handle the rest of the details.  And let’s talk about those details! From the gorgeous place settings, signage, and lighting, no detail was spared.  Most noteworthy: the Edison bulb chandelier they made and had the florist adorn with greenery and Spanish moss.  Talk about a focal point in the reception tent!

Alex’s mom surprised the couple with a flash mob to kick off the dance party.  We coordinated with them to dress as servers, so when it was time, the fabulous Jenny Broe of Dance Lab Charleston walks out onto the dance floor and “cleans up a spill.”  No one really notices but the music picks up and she doesn’t leave the dance floor.  Soon she is joined by another “server” and they are doing the salsa.  The crowd catches on and everyone goes wild.  Soon enough there are 7 or 8 coordinated dancers, and when the song changes, they pull everyone on to the dance floor and no one left it for the rest of the evening.  Such a fun time!
