She’s So Hot, She’s Melton!

Have you ever met someone and you instantly have that Step Brothers “Did we just become best friends?” moment?  Anyone who meets Emily feels exactly that way!  I mean, the girl had about 15 honorary bridesmaids so if that’s not proof right there!  It makes our job so special when we build a relationship with our clients and get to make their dreams become a reality. 

September 14th, 2019 was such a gorgeous day!  But don’t be fooled, the weather didn’t always cooperate as pictured and certainly at a point made my blood pressure go up about 40%.  As God likes to keep wedding planners on their toes, sometimes a completely uncalled for shower… hurricane… whatever you want to call it, comes through just as guests are arriving. Luckily, I NEVER leave my house without beach towels in my trunk for this exact reason.   As soon as the showers passed, our team juggled wiping down chairs and keeping everyone calm, so that the ceremony could take place in the Octagonal Garden just as planned.

Lowcountry Entertainment installed a crystal chandelier just over the altar in the garden.  The couple included a tying of three cords in their ceremony, and they also had their parents come up and sign their favorite bible passage.  It was such a beautiful faith-based ceremony.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour at the Crane Pool before heading over to the Pavilion for the reception, while the bride and groom traveled in style via horse-drawn carriage.  Emily and Thomas selected a dinner of southern classics including mac & cheese and fried chicken.  After dinner, the dance floor stayed packed throughout the night as everyone celebrated the newlyweds!  We sent Emily and Thomas off with a stunning sparkler exit.
