One of the best wedding venue combos in Charleston? St. Luke’s Chapel & The Wickliffe House, of course!

This March we had the pleasure of being a part of Crystal and John’s big day. Both MUSC students, it seemed as though the location of both the ceremony and reception were no brainers.

The ceremony was held at St. Luke’s Chapel on MUSC campus, where John’s uncle, Paul, beautifully officiated the pair’s vows. Afterward, guests crossed the street for cocktail hour and the reception at the Wickliffe House. Our favorite part about the Wickliffe House?! The piazza! Here guests grabbed a cocktail and enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres. The jazz trio by Other Brother Entertainment created the perfect setting for this intimate winter wedding.

Jim Smeal provided a beautiful woodsy wedding cake, and you can tell from the photo of Crystal feeding John, it was tasty! The bride and groom ended the evening with a traditional rice exit! We wish the newlyweds nothing but happiness in the years ahead!
