Sally and Dave hosted their gorgeous spring wedding at her family’s residence, located right outside of Charleston in Awendaw, SC. The ceremony took place at Stella Maris Catholic Church and the tented reception took place in their backyard overlooking the marsh. (Secret: we always love private residence weddings because there are no setup restrictions!) The tent was installed Thursday, the rentals delivered on Friday, and the details were placed on wedding day.
Sally envisioned a vintage blue and gold theme with bright, bold colors to accent the white linens. She found the perfect china with exactly that theme to be used for the place settings during the reception. Fresh by Frampton’s created the bold pink bouquets as well as the centerpieces that gave the reception tent the most perfect pops of color.
After watching a beautiful sunset over the marsh and eating dinner, the party really started. Juan with Bunn DJ kept the dance floor packed all night! The evening ended with a grand fireworks display off the family dock, which we LOVED! Then finished with a beautiful sparkler exit as the newly married couple got into their getaway car, a 1975 Mustang. We loved working with Sally and Dave on their dream wedding. We wish them nothing but happiness and love!
