Bright & Bold Spring Wedding!
Paige & Daryl planned their wedding for the first week of March 2020 from NYC. Here in Charleston, we were all still scratching our heads about this Covid-19 thing, wondering if it was possible it would make its way here. Minus a few guests dropping out last minute due to travel restrictions (OK, this virus was getting real?) the day went off without a hitch. The maid of honor surprised the couple with a bubble exit as they left the church following the ceremony. There was a perfect amount of brisk in the air to keep the guests cool dancing all night on the outdoor patio.
Inside the Carriage House, draping filled the beams, greenery and streamers adorned the chandeliers, and colorful accents such as blue goblets and orange, pink and yellow floral filled the room with so much happiness! We incorporated a Southern touch by adding basket weave chargers and trimming the wedding cake tiers with a sweetgrass design.
Salthouse Catering served an amazing plated dinner that kept guests full until it was time for the sparkler exit. Young Hearts became my new favorite band.
Wishing these two all the best on their new adventure together (outside of the city!)
