Charleston holds a very special place in the hearts of our bride and groom, Julia & Nic as It’s where they got engaged and where the couple has always considered their “sweet escape” making it the perfect place for them to say their I do’s.

April Charleston weather was certainly cooperative and it was the most perfect day at Runnymede. Julia’s vision of neutral tones, greenery and touches of pampas was the ideal palette for Runnymede and Laura at Lux & Union nailed the florals.

Guests enjoyed ceremony under the Spanish moss-draped oaks with the beautiful water views, then headed to grab a cocktail hour along the water and enjoy hor d’eourves amongst the ruins.

A delicious station-style dinner by Harvest was enjoyed by everyone with Charleston classics like shrimp and grits + fried chicken. Sweet Rhi made the most stunning gold leaf 4 tier cake and DJ David Fox of Bunn kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end!
