Mary and Alex had such a gorgeous spring wedding at The Gadsden House is downtown Charleston in April. I absolutely loved Mary’s description of why they chose to get married in Charleston: “It is our relationship in the form of a place. Unique, exciting, explorative, colorful, romantic, timeless.”
The “lavender ladies” (Mary’s bridesmaids) were stunning and the perfect complement to Mary’s light and airy design. We incorporated light spring florals, with blushes, purples, and peaches, with accents of gold and whites throughout the rest of our rentals. Their ceremony took place in front of the greenery wall, with a quick flip to transform the courtyard from ceremony site to dance floor!
They booked their vintage vehicle to pick them up right after the ceremony, so all the guests waved goodbye as the couple took off for a joy ride to take portraits around historic downtown. What a romantic way to incorporate a little time together on wedding day, and it also made for stunning photos!
These two are the absolute sweetest and were so deserving of this perfect day. We wish them all the best in their future together!
