This Brooklyn couple had one main priority for their wedding: dancing! Our layout consisted of making the most room for the dance floor, and priority number one in booking vendors was finding a great party band. Mallory and Josh had a beautiful Jewish ceremony and reception at Cannon Green and included full use of the grounds. The ceremony took place in Cannon Green’s stunning outdoor courtyard, which features a built in pergola, which we used for the chuppah. Due to the threat of rain showers all day, we tented the courtyard with Cannon Green’s custom clear top tent adorned with cafe lights. Even though everyone wishes for perfect weather on their wedding day, this truly is a gorgeous plan B.
For cocktail hour, Mallory and Josh rented out the indoor space of Cannon Green’s restaurant. I loved this use of the space because guests were not privy to the chair flip happening on the courtyard, removing the ceremony chairs to open up the courtyard. Mallory and Josh displayed their custom wedding logo on the wall to add to the trendy and modern decor that the restaurant already boasts.
Following cocktail hour, guests made their way into the Trolley Room, where Charleston Florist had turned the space into an indoor garden. The beams were wrapped with greenery and the raised floral centerpieces created a romantic statement against the farm tables and mahogany chairs. To enhance the dancing for the night, we incorporated 45 minutes of dancing as the couple was introduced into the reception before dinner began. Then, immediately following dinner, the party kicked back up for the rest of the night. Mallory and Josh served their favorite dessert, Peace Pies! And if you haven’t tried them, add it to your list ASAP!
Wishing this gorgeous couple the very best in their future together!
