Keepin it Glam!

Charleston has become such a wedding destination that it isn’t often we get the pleasure of working with true locals. Amelia and Cameron are from Hanahan, SC, and their wedding goal was to create a weekend that their entire family could spend together in the same place. What better spot than host everyone at Wild Dunes? Their families combined to rent several condos, and with easy access to the beach, pools, and bars, I have to think it was an unforgettable celebration.

Amelia’s style was classic and timeless from our very first meeting. She had magazine clippings of the dance floor she wanted, the flowers she wanted, and the perfect image of how her wedding day would look. Well, I think it’s safe to say, we came pretty dang close 😉

Nothing screams classic and timeless like CONFETTI CANNONS!!!! But what is a Southern Pageant Queen without a little sparkle? Truth be told, I lost sleep for weeks over ruining this moment for her! We were in charge of plugging them in at the exact moment the bride and groom were introduced, and the guy at the rental company assured me it was “easy.” But you couldn’t do a trial run, because they were one shot only. To fuel the anxiety, at setup, we realized the closest outlet that the cords would reach was underneath a table and behind a wall of draping, so it wasn’t exactly easy to see them enter the room! *SWEAT!*

But in the end, the day was absolutely stunning, and the bride and groom partied like there was no tomorrow. Literally, Amelia did not leave the dance floor, and I have a lot of respect for that! I wish Cameron and Amelia the absolute best as they start this next chapter in life together!!
