Started at Wingate, made it official at Wingate!

Amanda and Colby met while studying at Wingate University in North Carolina. The couple knew the second they saw Wingate Plantation that it was the place they would say “I do!” Go Bulldogs!!

“Note to musicians: always practice the ceremony songs BEFORE the ceremony!” Colby joked with Jacqueline as she waited to send him down the aisle.  The couple’s close friend provided all entertainment for the day, including ceremony music.  You know the saying that “seconds feel like hours?” Well, when you’re waiting for a song to download right quick before walking down the aisle, seconds feel like YEARS.  We all laughed it off, and Rick Burton gave a beautiful ceremony under the Wingate wedding oak.

Cocktail hour took place under the gorgeous Spanish moss, and musician friend Lance played acoustic guitar in the background.  Cru Catering pulled out all the stops for 180 guests with their station dinner, and not a soul left hungry.

The June weather cooperated with us and was beautiful and not too sticky! A truly beautiful day for an amazing couple! We wish Colby and Amanda a lifetime of love and happiness!
