Allison and Ryan’s spring wedding at Alhambra Hall was everything Lowcountry dreams are made of. They were complete royalty and honestly we haven’t had that much fun at a wedding in a long time! This fun-loving couple made the planning process an absolute blast. Both worked in the engineering field so they were very detail oriented (and as planners, we really appreciated this!) They would wait a few weeks and collect their questions into very long emails, but they had us spitting out our coffee in the mornings they were so hilarious! I looked forward to receiving them when they came and I miss them now that they have stopped.

The first time Allison and Erica set up a phone appointment, she ignored the call because it was a (515) number. She had no time for phone calls from home in Iowa because she was about to talk with a bride! But when she listened to the voicemail, she realized it was Allison who called and there was an instant connection because they realized they were from towns close by each other! 

A memorable detail from their wedding is that they chose to cut pie instead of cake (and then proceeded to go crazy with the whipped cream to the face which was also really great.) But they were pie people and we appreciate that they strayed from the normal and served what they liked. Wishing Allison and Ryan the very, very best, now and always!
